Error Message When Publishing to Customer: Your parent and child direct link quantities should match

Please help.  We have a product that contains 100 - 1oz packets.  The GTIN begins with 3-zeros.  There is no child record tied to these.  We cannot publish the item as it believes there is a child hierarchy.  Please advise how to resolve.  EX: 00074235273584 - 100/1 oz. BBQ SAUCE - Dodge's.  The 1 oz packs are not sold to a consumer.  The total count of all products should be 100 and that is what the customer needs to see.

Hello @DawnVanWychen, and welcome back. The reason why you received this error is because the Total Count of All Products was filled out as 100 which flags that there are 100 consumer units within the case. If no child unit needs to be linked to the case please complete the Total Count of All products to 1 and update the Inner pack section to 100.

Based on our IM 8.51 (August 2024) Participant Dictionary, Valid Values, and Validations  Total Count of All products is  The total count of all products within this item. For example, a Case of 12 Jars (or Eaches) would have a Quantity of Next Level Item(s) of 12. As for the Jar (or the Each), Quantity of Next Level Item would be 1.

Used by a buyer and/or consumer to understand what type of product they are receiving; also used for inventory/warehouse management.

While the Inner pack  Indicates the number of non-GTIN assigned inner packs of next lower-level trade items within the current GTIN level.
