Customer says parent GTIN and child GTIN are in incorrect place in records. No CIC error message.

Base Unit Indicator on parent GTIN record says false.  How or where do I fix this?  I am not seeing what to change.

Hello, @DawnVanWychen, and welcome back.

Thank you for utilizing our customer community.  I am happy to take a look for you to help where I can but I request you provide some additional context to help me troubleshoot this with you.  Can you provide me with an example GTIN, recipient, and any other details?

Hi.  Sure and thank you.  It is 20041129020672 / 00041129020678.  It was published to Albertsons - GLN 0321130000013.  The CIC report showed nothing on these records.   This is what the customer said - No photos were given.

  • We had a hiccup last night with a delivery refused due to case UPC & item UPC apparently being flip-flopped in 1WS.  At least that’s what the New England team reported.
  • Can you please explore & correct to ensure we catch this issue before it spreads to other deliveries & retailers.

Thanks @DawnVanWychen  - I reviewed this hierarchy in IM and PI both under your GLN as well as Albertsons GLN, the hierarchy is the same where GTIN 20041129020672  is the Case and GTIN 00041129020678 is the Each:

From IM under your GLN

From Albertsons PI under your GLN:

From PI under Albertsons GLN:

I also checked the IM value for GTIN for Point of Sale as well as the PI value for GS1 Trade Item ID Value (UPC):

20041129020672  = 20041129020672 & 00041129020678 = 041129020678 in both IM and PI under your GLN as well as under Albertsons GLN.
If this is still an issue please clarify where it is they are seeing the Case and item UPC flip-flopped and confirm what (if any) action is required on your side.
