Complete Hierarchy Information

Hi - I want to confirm if information completed in Hierarchy part is correct as I usually enter only unit and case info but this time I also had to enter display info.

My item is a gummy, each master case has 6 inner packs (display) and each display comes with 10 units, so in total a master case contains 60 units. Attached is how I completed the Hierarchy Information for each level.

Hello @Andrea_TS and thanks for continuing the use of the community.

The Total Count of All Products attribute needs to be filled out to reflect how many next lower level items you have inside the item you are adding the information on. In your case, this should be 6 on the Case, 10 on the Display and 1 on the Each, please.

Two other attributes that need to be added in the Hierarchy information section please are the Ti and Hi. As long as you do not have a Pallet level added in your hierarchy, these will go in the NonGTIN Pallet Ti and Hi fields, please. Here is an article explaining these two attributes in more detail, please: TI / HI Validations

Another set of attributes you may want to update is the Inner Pack and the Quantity of Next Level GTIN within Inner Pack:

These will need to be added only if you have inner packaging that does not have a GTIN assigned to it, please, as per the definitions in the screenshots above.

Also, depending on which retailer(s) you need to publish the items to, their attribute requirements may vary slightly and their Playlists in Item Management can come in handy here.

I hope this helps. Please let us know if this was clear or if there is anything else we can help you with for this request. Thank you!

Hi Val, about the TI / HI, you mean it should be completed for each level? I only have it completed for the case. Also, about Total Count of All Products, I also don't understand the meaning. Can you please also assist providing the numbers for each so I can relate them and understand the field? Thank you very much for your assistance!

Hello @Andrea_TS Andrea and thank you for the swift update.

The TI / HI attributes need to be added on the highest hierarchy level only please. There will be some exceptions, but those are not very common occurrences.

The Total Count of All Products reflects how many next lower level items inside the item you are adding the information on. For example, if you have a Case containing 10 Innerpacks and then each Innerpack contains 5 Eaches, the Total Count is 10 on the Case, 5 on the Inner and 1 on the Each (because there is nothing else linked under the Each).

Here is an article explaining how to add the hierarchy information successfully for your items: Total Count of All Products - Qty Next Level Items - Hierarchy Link Quantities

Please let us know if this was clear or if there is anything else we can help you with for this request. Thank you!

Thank you Val! Also, when I originally published these items the display info was not in it but then McLane asked me to add it. I received instructions from Support team to withdraw the publication so I can add the display level, this was done last Monday and today when I'm trying to Update Hierarchy I'm receiving the attached error messages. Can you please assist?

Please see the date below for more details about when the Case publication was Deleted/Withdrawn. The 25 hour counter starts from this day and time, please:

Also the times displayed in our Worklist (the screenshot above) are for the Central time zone, so depending where you are, please add or subtract a few additional hours if needed.

I hope this helped. Please let us know if it works for you after the 25 hours and if we can help you with anything else for this request. Thank you!
