Hello,
I've had the following request from a customer (Kroger):
Are you able to republish these items with just the case and the 4PK as an each? Since Kroger is not planning on selling the individual unit we do not need to get this setup.
Currently item is set up as case>carton>each. They want us to remove the each from the hierarchy. I've unpublished the items in order to be able to edit the hierarchy. But is it ok to edit the hierarchy for a customer and publish to them, then go back and unpublish and re-set it back to original hierarchy? I don't feel like that will work/stick. The each has a barcode and could be sold that way, but majority of time will be sold in-store as a carton. Thank you for your help!

Hello @JTubby and welcome to our customer community. You are correct, this would not work as you described. If Kroger needs a different Case/Pack configuration from you with the Each, you could create another hierarchy for just the Case and Pack. This would require a different GTIN for your Case which you can create using the GTIN allocation rules.

Thank you for your reply. Actually Kroger does not want to change the actual configuration. They just don't want the each published to them. Instead of our actual case-carton-each they want case-carton. So the carton would be an "each" to Kroger. Is there a way to block the actual each or something to that order?

Hello, and thanks for reaching back out to the Community. There is no way to block a lower level of the hierarchy when sent. In order to accomplish what Kroger is looking for the previous steps would have to be done.
