Good morning team!

Please, see attached screen shot of a CIC error message from Gordon Food Service.

Can you shed some light on how I can address this?

Thanks!

Hi @nancyVigo

From what I understand the attribute and/or value is flagged in some way either at the recipient end or their Datapools end. I would recommend reaching out to GFS to see if they can help pinpoint the attribute/value in question.

Hello, nancyVigo, and welcome back.

That CIC indicates a 1WS specific value was sent to a non-1WS trading partner, we would need some guidance from Gordon or their Datapool provider to determine which value it is they're referring to.

@DanV, thanks for the prompt response!

So, what would be my best course of action?  GFS is one of our customers, so I guess I'm confused as to how it got sent to a non-1WS trading partner?

Hi @nancyVigo

Its the value that was sent, not necessarily who it was sent to, most Datapools have some values for attributes that are specific to that Datapool and if a Datapool specific value was sent to some other Datapool, it could trigger the CIC you received. If you look at the IM Participant Dictionary (https://community.1worldsync.com/t5/IM-Participant-Dictionary/Current-IM-Participant-Dictionary-IMPD...) under the IM Valid Values tab, you'll see some that have (na) under the GDSN CIN column, this means that its a 1WS specific value and could only be sent to trading partners who are registered with 1WS as their Datapool provider (you could still publish to any trading partner not registered with 1WS). Typically if a 1WS specific value is sent to a trading partner who is not registered with 1WS the other Datapool would just ingest the data thats there (and not the 1WS specific value) but we do occaisionally see this CIC so must be an attribute/value that trading partner sees value in having.
