GTIN Update

I need to update the GTIN on some of our published Albertson's items. Is there a way to change the numbers on the existing items and keep the current CIC number, or do I need to delete the existing item and submit a brand new item with the correct GTIN?

Hello and thank you for reaching out via our community portal.  I am terribly sorry for the delayed response here as I did not see your question.  When you create your items and Save, before publishing, almost all attributes can be changed except for one: the GTIN.  Once you save the GTIN, there is no way to back back and change it.  If you see you made a mistake, you can clone from the erroneous GTIN to create a new one so you do not have to re-enter a bunch of data.  Here is a quick video we have that talks about cloning.
