Manage the Attribute Library, Account Preferences, and the Company Dictionary, or set User Permissions.

The Configuration tab houses settings that affect the organization and integration of the content you work with across the account. Access the Attribute Libray, manage GDSN party settings, set user permissions, and manage the company dictionary.

Some accounts may see additional configuration options based on active Syndigo services, such as the Analytics Control Center or Workflows.

 

Attribute Library 

All attributes appear in the Attribute Library for reference, including pre-existing, global attributes from Integrated and GDSN Recipients, and private, custom attributes for Direct and Custom Recipients. 

Core Marketing: These are the most commonly used and accepted marketing attributes, including unique identifiers, and basic weights and measures.   

Additional Attributes: Attributes here are typically used to provide supplemental data points as they may be required for a specific category or Requirement Set. 

Digital Assets: All image, document, and video asset attributes are here. 

Vendor Choice: MFG Brand NameMFG Name, and Supplier Company Name are configured here. Click Edit to add to the choice list for each of these attributes.  

Recipient Attributes: Attributes here have been created specifically to accommodate the requirements of one or more Recipients.  

Private Attributes: These attributes have been added specifically for your account. Create a new Private Attribute or edit an existing Private Attribute on the Private Attributes tab. 

 

Company Settings

Account Preferences - Define the account level unique identifier.

Brand Label Claims - manage and submit claims for Brand Label ownership.

Company Dictionary – Add and manage approved terms for the account so that unique spellings or frequently used terminology is not flagged for data quality issues.

Subscription Approval – Specify whether to auto approve future subscription requests for subscription-based recipients.

Security Settings – Set preferences for auto log outs, session timeouts, and how often users on the account are required to reset their passwords.

 

Party Settings 

You can register a Party, view and edit Party information, and view Party registration status with the GDSN Global Registry. Additionally, you can define your preferred target markets. 

 

Permissions

Syndigo users with administrator permissions are the only ones who can grant “full”, “read-only”, or custom (global attribute and recipient attribute) permissions for other users from here. 

 

Based on active Syndigo account features, users may also see the following options in Configurations.

 

Analytics Control Center

Dashboards – Analytics users can add/manage the Analytics Dashboards that are available for the account.

Shelf Pages – Manage, create new, or edit Shelf Pages for use in reporting.

Search Term Groups – Export, Import, or create new Search Term Groups for use in corresponding reports.

Content Health Scoring Templates – Here, users can download and/or manage each Content Health Scoring template that is available for the account.

Authorized Retailer Settings – Add or remove Authorized Resellers

 

Workflow 

Here users can create new Supplier workflows and manage workflow requirement sets.
