Overview

1WorldSync is introducing the implementation of annotated images for our brand partners. These images can be used to enhance your product content being delivered and used on multiple retailer websites. The key benefit of providing annotated images is to allow you to highlight certain features on the product image itself. Annotated images have been proven to assist in cart conversion by up to 30%!

How It Works

Submitting your annotated images through PartnerAccess can be provided to us in three ways. In order of preference: SPAF file, Enrich Catalog, or the PA Portal catalog page.

Accept annotated images when a market-specific PN exists.
Image types: PNG and JPEG are preferred; while TIFF and GIF types will be converted (can cause data loss).
We tag images as annotated when text is part of it.
Annotated Images are not reviewed by our production team; they will automatically become available.
We allow 5 images per market per language.
Delivered through the DataSource network.
If a PN is shared across multiple markets, the annotated images are distributed with the language associated with each image. DS clients will only receive the annotated images in the correct language for their market in the gallery.

Restrictions:

ADA Compliance: Unfortunately, we cannot provide descriptions to match ADA compliance standards with these images. We are exploring this capability for a future release.
Image Order: Currently, there is no option to set an order for images. We will pass them based on the system's ability to prioritize better quality images.

What you see in PartnerAccess

When Annotated Images are present for a SKU, those images will be available to be seen in the new Annotated Images sub-tab in the images section. If you want to add annotated images through the portal, just click on the “Add image” link on the far right side of the page above the images. This link is available on both the Annotated Images and Uploaded Images sub-tabs.

For File Feeds:

For both Enrich Catalog and SPAF file feeds, you can add annotated image links to the new “Annotated Image” columns (up to 5). We will accept up to 5 annotated image links per market-specific SKU. For SPAF feeds, please add all annotated images in one cell, which is the same process for additional images.

What To Tell Your Reseller

Here's how you can help your reseller receive and display those new annotated images.

These images are part of the digital content, just like other images.
Images will be made available via the DataSource download.zip file.
DataSource clients will need to integrate the new Media Type (6) for receiving these images. More information on how to integrate these images can be found here:
