DataSource clients receive an additional content called “Annotated Images” seamlessly integrated into their feed.
These images will be part of the DataSource Digital Content delivery
Are you interested in activating the “Annotated Images” feature for your account(s), or do you have any questions? Feel free to reach out to us at cs-support@1worldsync.com.
If a brand wishes to ensure all their products are covered, they can subscribe to our Solution PartnerAccess.
This service enables them to provide the necessary data and ensures we have high-quality content for their products, including Product images, Specs, KSP, marketing text, and more.
For more information, they can contact us: 1worldsync.com/solutions/partneraccess
These images are provided directly by brands. This means the brand has either chosen to supply the annotated images in only one language or their contract with 1WorldSync covers only a specific language.
A brand provided us with their annotated images. Can we forward them to you?
No, brands must submit their images directly. They need to be under contract with 1WorldSync to provide this content.
Is there a maximum resolution for annotated images?
Yes, annotated images follow the same specifications as other product images delivered via DataSource. The maximum resolution is 2400 x 1800 pixels.
Are annotated images available in DataSource Cloud?
For now, only annotated images from HP Inc. are available via DataSource Cloud. We are evaluating further integration opportunities for additional brands.
Do brands provide a specific order for annotated images?
Yes, brands define a preferred order for annotated images. If multiple annotated images are available for a SKU, they are displayed following the brand’s intended sequence, meaning the first image reflects the brand’s first preference, the second image their second, and so on.
What categories are covered?
There are no category limitations. If a brand supplies these images, they can potentially cover their entire catalog.
Is there a limitation on the number of annotated images per product?
We are currently evaluating this. As we begin receiving annotated images from brands, we will assess whether a limitation is necessary based on volume and display considerations. For now, there is no defined limit.
Do annotated images include ALT text or support ADA compliance (U.S.)?
Not at this stage. Currently, annotated images do not include ALT text or metadata designed to support ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) compliance. However, we recognize the importance of accessibility and are actively exploring ways to integrate this type of information in the future. There is no ETA yet, but we will keep clients informed of any updates.
