I have an item to set up today. I assume I should use Kroger VIP?
Yes, continue using the current process through Kroger VIP until it is sunset; however, we highly recommend you transition to using the Kroger API.
Is this primarily for the Kroger banner and Kroger.com? No other banners like Fred Meyer, QFC, Smiths, etc?
This process applies to all Kroger divisions, including Fred Meyer, QFC, Smith’s, and others, not just the Kroger banner and Kroger.com.
If our item is used as an ingredient and not ready to sell, do we still put our items in through this?
While much of the Kroger API process supports online and consumer-facing product content, all items should still be submitted through the process. The Kroger playlist is enabled. We are going through the preliminary step and getting the information ready to be submitted.
Since the Kroger playlist is enabled and you’re still in the preliminary preparation stage, I recommend only validating your items to identify any missing information without saving changes. This way, no data will be sent to current customers prematurely or without your intent.
We have Kroger VIP, but we didn't use it, so now if we want to share DATA to KROGER, should we just use Kroger API?
Yes, if you have a Kroger VIP but haven’t been using it, you should transition to using the Kroger API for sharing your data with Kroger going forward.

Hello @carolhunn, it's good chatting with you again. Currently, Kroger's decision is to sunset Product Introduction until the end of the year. If this changes, we will notify everyone here of course. Thanks!
ok so i know i'm late in this but, i was not at work the month of February and i have been struggling to get the transition done - we are in read only mode now so not sure if this is the problem on my end. i have watched the webinar on how you are suppose to transition and i will be watching the same this Thursday again to see if i can get more notes. anyways my problem is i am in our account but i have searched the whole page and do not see "playlist" what so ever, at all. it's not on the first page. i have tried to get into the products page but it won't let me in there either. i keep getting a page saying i don't have access. i am sooooo lost right now and am afraid that we would be able to continue selling our products to our local stores. we are a very small company and we sell locally. any help you can give would be greatly appreciated. thanks!

Your company does not have access to the Item Management portal, where a playlist can be used.
Please submit this form to get in touch with a representative and discuss the next steps of the transition to the Kroger API.
