Unfortunately, there are certain times Lowe’s does not send back a CIC message in response to CIN messages. Below are some of the known issues that prevent Lowe’s CICs and who to escalate to as needed.
1) Lowe’s subscribes by GLN & GTIN. Please make sure a subscription is in place from Lowe’s to the supplier publication level GTIN.
2) Make sure to check the Item History Report to confirm there are no error messages preventing the CIN message from being fully generated and sent to Lowe’s.
3) Ensure each GTIN in the hierarchy has a valid Model Number without any special characters. Make sure the Model Number is the same for every GTIN in the hierarchy (remember, for Alternate Item Identification Agency, please choose one of the only two values Lowe’s will accept: Model Number or Assigned by Manufacturer).
4) Make sure the Country of Origin is populated on every level of the hierarchy. Remember, if the Country of Origin is different than the Target Market for the GTIN, the attribute “Import Classification Type” must be populated with the same value on each GTIN in the hierarchy.
5) Lowe’s does not accept special characters in GTIN Name, Product Description, or Additional Description.
6) If these parameters are met and Lowe’s still does not send a CIC response, it is most likely because Lowe’s data pool did not fully set up the supplier GLN profile on their end. Please contact the 1WorldSync Service Desk as our customer and we can double-check these steps with you and work with Lowe's as needed.
