Hello -
I need some assistance with the new IM Validation 2954. We are getting validation errors for this when doing other internal system testing in Pre-Prod.
Using the example below for a product with a TM = 840/US:
Case/Each Product
What should the value for "numberOfItemsPerPallet" be for each packaging/GTIN level?
The calculation used in the IMPD does not take into account how many items are in the case. Is that correct?
Any help is greatly appreciated!
Sorry, more context to my example...
Our original number was 240.
I had to change to 60 for both GTIN's and it passed validation.
Thanks - Lexi
Hello Lexi (@lvanhouten) and thank you for continuing the use of our customer community. Welcome back.
The numberOfItemsPerPallet attribute (Count of This Specific Item in a Non-GTIN Logistic Unit/NonGTIN Pallet Quantity in the GUI) refers to the total number of that item inside the pallet. As this is a logistical attribute, in general it needs to be provided on the highest hierarchy level only (unless specifically requested otherwise by a retailer) and it needs to match Non GTIN Pallet Ti multiplied by Non GTIN Pallet Hi. For more details we also have an article covering TI / HI Validations. The numberOfItemsPerPallet should be provided only when there is no Pallet level in the hierarchy and the GTIN Pallet Ti and GTIN Pallet Hi attributes are left blank.
The calculation used in the IMPD does not take into account how many items are in the case. Is that correct?
Yes, this is correct, the number of Cases is taken into account by our systems when performing the validations.
Please let us know if there is anything else we may assist with for this request further and we would be delighted to. Thanks!
