Please see below and attached details on how data recipients can create subscriptions in order to receive publications.
If you are a data supplier and would like to be able to receive publications from other suppliers, please contact your 1WorldSync Account Manager and ask for the details on becoming a recipient.
Quick question: when will I start seeing the items form the subscription?
Hello @ccarvalhal and welcome to the Community. Once a subscription is put in place the next step would be for the supplier to publish the hierarchy to the recipient. Looking at your Item Management and going under Subscriptions and then Item Confirmation I see items that have been sent to the GLN.
Thanks for the quick answer. Is there any tutorial/training material that cover Item management from Receiver perspective?
What is the difference between the Subscription Type: 'Targeted' and 'General' ?
Hello @pobaos and welcome to the customer community. Thanks for reaching out. Yours is a good question. Some trading partners will subscribe to content by Target Market, i.e. United Staes, etc, which is considered a General subscription for all content with target market = to US. The targeted subscriptions are when a trading partner subscribes by more specific parameters like GLN, GTIN, GPC.
As a trading partner myself, when I do a target market = US subscription, is there a way to check which content is coming through with this and which "brands" received the request?
Hello @ccarvalhal and thanks for your question. Welcome to the customer community. When a recipient subscribes by Target Market (TM) U.S. or by any TM really, they receive all published content from any trading partner with that same TM. That can lead to a lot of data and is not recommended unless it is truly intended.
When you subscribe by TM, your trading partners do not receive a "request" with that open subscription, it just means the flood gates are open for you so you can receive all that is published to that TM.
I hope this helps.
