Annotated Images from the Manufacturer

DataSource clients can now receive Manufacturer Annotated Images, seamlessly integrated into their digital feed.

These branded visuals highlight key product features directly on the image, helping to boost customer understanding and engagement. Do not hesitate to contact us to activate this New Feature. More details

 

New Extranet Homepage Experience

The Extranet homepage has been updated with a cleaner, more engaging layout. Quickly find feature updates, tips, roadmap highlights, and direct access to support and the Community Portal. Check it out today!

What’s New in the Product Data Model

New Categorization, Attributes, and Documentation Available

We’re pleased to share several DataSource PDM updates, now available for download:

• Alternative Categorization: enhanced category version to improve your data flows.
• Updated Searchable Attributes List: access the latest searchable attributes for more accurate product discovery.
• Searchable Attribute Deactivation: review which attributes have been deactivated to keep your setup aligned.
• Category List: download the most recent version of the product classification.
• Attribute Modifications: check the latest changes to attributes (additions, removals, Brand Logo updates).
  
  

EU Data Act – Coming Soon in DataSource

The EU Data Act introduces new obligations for connected products.

• Brands must provide clear pre-contract information about the data their products generate and how users can access it.
• E-commerce sites must display this information on the product detail page before purchase.

In practice, this is usually provided through a URL to the brand’s page.

We are already working to integrate this information into DataSource, so our clients can stay compliant. More details will follow soon.

 What’s Next: DataSource API in Progress

We’re actively working on a new DataSource API, targeted for release by the end of this year and it’s our top development priority.
