Syndigo Verified Content is “on package” product content and dimensions, verified by the Syndigo team and the Syndigo data quality engine. As a result of this extensive but efficient verification process, Syndigo Verified Content is trusted by both brands and retailer/recipients alike. For some retailers, Syndigo Verified Content is the ONLY content accepted!
The Syndigo Verification process begins when products are submitted digitally within the Syndigo platform or are physically shipped to Syndigo. Brands with quality product images of all sides of their products or package flats may prefer to submit their items digitally, while brands in need of images for their products may prefer to submit their physical products.
Note: Most retailers who use Syndigo Verified Content for space planning purposes require a physical product to be weighed and measured by Syndigo. Regardless of how products are submitted, Syndigo will review the content and provide feedback if additional information is required.
Syndigo verified data includes all non-variable package data:
Images will include at minimum a planogram front [for digital products], up to all 6 sides for digital or physical items, angled images for ecommerce usage, and cropped images for nutrition panels, ingredients, drug panels, and other specific panels.
Data not collected includes variable data like bottle deposit return information [varies by distribution area/state] and specific expiration or best by dates [though the presence of such a date will be captured].
Once a Product has been verified, the Syndigo Verified Content for that product is accessible within the Marketplace. Here, brands and retailers can view and/or download Syndigo verified content. For recipients that accept brand-added content, users can edit or supplement this verified content to fit the needs of various stakeholders.
