Updating Existing IMF

is it possible to update an existing IMF without creating a new one? There was an error when inputting the distribution method (was entered as warehouse but should be DSD), GTIN00850019179866.

The applicable Kroger Event Code is not longer available in the drop down and when viewing the item the event code changed to "obsolete"

Hello @mwontz and welcome back to the Community! Thank you for reaching out.

You can update an existing item - keep the current IMF and not generate a new one - and resubmit it to Kroger after making any other changes by leaving the Item Submission Reason Code attribute blank. In a nutshell, as long as you can use the current IMF number, you can then submit the item without an  Item Submission Reason Code added and this will keep the current IMF for future use, but will still allow you ot update any information you need on the item, including obsolete Kroger Event Code.

Thanks @Val_P  - is there a work around if the Kroger Event Code was cleared and no longer available in the dropdown? As far as I know, an Event Code is required. As always, thank you for all of your help!

if the Kroger Event Code initially chosen for the item is now "Obsolete", it needs to be replaced/updated for the item to be submitted to Kroger, please.

For more details about what new Event Code you can add, you can reach out to your Kroger contact (Category Manager) and they will be able to confirm this information for you. As this is a Kroger and sales specific attribute, I am afraid only your buyer will have this piece of information and can best advise which new  Event Code you can choose.
