Kroger - Supplier Item Number

Hi there,

I was able to add new items (ca & ea) and successfully in VIP, however I am at a loss on how/where to add our Supplier Item number. I see a field for it in each of the items but not a field to enter it.

I would greatly appreciate some pointers.

Thank you.

nd thank you for reaching out via the community.  My first question for you is why are you creating items in VIP when you can create in IM, publish to VIP then top-off?  This ensures you only have to manage one version of your item.  For the GTINs in question, can you provide an example?  I looked in VIP and see your most recent ones are complete.

Hi Jedi22,

Thanks for responding so quickly!

I used my normal log in to 1WS IM and from the launch applications used Product Introduction to access Kroger. I am brand new to Kroger data synching so it may just be I am using the incorrect verbiage.

I did find a field for Supplier Item number in the Classification Specific Attributes pop-out window, though only in the ea level GTIN, and our supplier item number is not displaying in the Entered Items list.

GTIN 10041604364324 & 00041604364327

Anett,

The field you described is usually populated in Item Management. I noticed that you were actually creating items in Kroger's portal instead of using Item Management. You are able to load the products in Item Management and then "publish" them to Kroger. Once the items appear in Product Introduction, you just need to top off a few missing attributes. The beauty of this is that the item will be ready to publish to any of your trading partners. You can add them in Kroger's portal as you are doing but they cannot be sent to Target or Walmart. When you load directly into Kroger' portal, Kroger is the only one to get the GTIN.

The Supplier Item Number is pulled from the Alternate Item Identification ID in Item Management. You would populate the  Alternate Item Identification ID and it appears in the Supplier Item Number.

I would really appreciate that a lot. Would you like me to call you or vice versa?
