1WorldSync,
I have products which are setup in accordance with the GS1 GDSN standards as a multi-tier hierarchy such as a Case + Pack + Each.
Sam's Club IDM Support is advising they only want the Case + Pack for Inner Pack products.
Question: What is 1WorldSync guidance on how to resolve the GDSN published Inner Pack products to Sam's Club IDM solution for successful processing?
Thank you and I look forward to your response.

Eric,
GS1US.org has the best references for building GTIN and their hierarchies. I recommend reviewing the GS1US website for standards regarding GTIN..

Hi Eric and welcome to our online community!
1Worldsync would have you adhere to GDSN standards on publishing to any of your trading partners. I did some digging and the issue is not related to GDSN or 1Worldsync. The problem is on the Sam's IDM side so I can only recommend talking with your merchant on how they would like for you to publish. I would expect that this is a temporary issue, but only Sam's can confirm this for us.

Hello @EricGinsburgSaz and thank you for reaching out. We asked our internal Sam's/Walnart SME and they recommend you reach out to Sam's IDM team at smerch@wal-mart.com. My understanding this is less of a GDSN/mapping type issue and since it is unique, they would be the best place to start. Please feel free to share your resolution here after you work with them so future customers can learn from your experience as well.

Thank you for the response.
I reached out to 1WorldSync per Sam's Club IDM support direction when i was on their office hours support which they advised that is the only method for inner packs and I should talk with 1WorldSync to resolve.

Hi Eric,
Would you mind sharing the hierarchy in question? We take a look but will try to consult with our Sam's SME again. I am unsure how 1Worldsync can help but we can dig deeper.

Sure thing...I would think that a Product being GS1 Standard compliant that transformation should be on the recipient side.
Example GTIN hierarchy :
Case = 10088004034372
Pack = 00088004034382 = 4 Packs per Case
Each = 00088004034375 = 6 Bottles per Pack

Eric,
Thank you for the example that I can review. I would like to do some research to determine how to best resolve the issue for Sam's Club.

Eric,
I have also reached out to Sam's Desk to see if I can get a response and hopefully to get some direction on the heirarchy in question.
I will advise you the moment I have a response for us!

Eric,
I did get a response from the Sam's Team, see below. The only way I see making this happen is to create a new case GTIN. You cant use the same case GTIN for two different hierarchies.

Thank you for this response. I would like to request if there can be a visual aide to support the Sam's Club direction? This would assist in ensuring the provided content is accurate.
Thank you...
