Mclane Product Hierarchy

Hi,

I am not understanding how to upload my products with the correct Hierarchy. I have attached an image of how the products are packaged.

We have 24 inners within a master carton. Each inner contains 10 units. Each Master carton contains 24 inners for a total of 240 units in each master carton.

Thanks

Hi,

I keep getting these errors when trying to setup the Hierarchy. I have watched the tutorials on how to setup and have uploaded all the necessary information. The only issues I am having is with the Hierarchies.

Thank You

Hello and once again, thank you for the excellent details.  When creating your hierarchy, your link quantities should match your value for the Total Count of All Products at each level.  Here is the explanation of this attribute in the IMPD.

IM GUI / Load Sheet (FUSE) Name (Change to) Definition (Change to)
Total Count of All Products The total count of all products within this item. For example, a Case of 12 Jars (or Eaches) would have a Quantity of Next Level Item(s) of 12. As for the Jar (or the Each), Quantity of Next Level Item would be 1.

Used by a buyer and/or consumer to understand what type of product they are receiving; also used for inventory/warehouse management.

For your example, you have these GTINs:

Case 00840178400031 - Total Count of All Products = 240
Pack 00840178400055 -  Total Count of All Products = 10
Each 00840178400017 - Each Should Always be set to "1" as there can be nothing below it

If the values you populated in IM (noted above) are correct, you are saying your Case has 240 packs in it and your Pack has 10 Eaches in it.  If true, when you create your hierarchy, start at the Case, Link 240 Packs to it, then link the Each to the Pack with Qty 10.

I'm not sure if this is allowed or not, but we have a similar configuration so I'm showing the set up. Maybe this will help sean3691. We have a master case with 12 inners containing 24 units.
