McLane playlist vs. information for other customers

If information for a material is populated in item management and published to other customers, but does not meet the requirements of the McLane playlist, does it effect the other customers if I go in and change it to meet their requirements.  For instance, if there are numbers in GTIN TI/HI and McLane requires non-GTIN TI/HI, how does changing that information for McLane effect customers that it is already published to?

Well, we follow the 20% rule.  If the gross weight is not 20% higher from one variant to the next, but it's different, we would enter the new gross weight into item management.

Hello @audrey per the GS1 standard, please remember the 20% rule is historical to manage all changes for an item.  You may want to contact GS1 for best practices for changing of values between trading partners.  I believe they will also recommend what I am suggesting here.
