Product Content Requirements Changes

Important Announcement from McLane Company

 

Dear McLane Company Supplier,

McLane recently updated our product content requirements for all items received via the GDSN and Product Introduction. This change impacts publication of all new items and/or modifications sent on existing items.

We now require some additional GDSN attributes to be populated for items published to McLane via GDSN. Failing to provide information for these attributes will lead to publication errors and McLane not receiving your product content. This could lead to delays in setting up items in our systems.

Before loading/entering new items in your GDSN data pool for publishing to McLane, please be sure to review and utilize the resources listed below.

  • Refer to McLane GDSN Implementation Guide available on McLane landing page to learn how to publish your product content to McLane via GDSN.  Please pay close attention to “What will McLane expect on my publication?
  • Visit 1WorldSync Community (currently available to 1WorldSync customers only) to access reference materials on publishing product content with McLane. Feel free to start a conversation or answer questions from your peers in the Community.
