ordering unit error when validating the hierarchy

Why does this error message appear?  The base UOM record shows true for ordering unit and the alternate EA record shows false in this field.  How do I fix them?

Hello,

I have reviewed your question along with the screenshot. This error indicates the "Ordering Unit Indicator" MUST be "TRUE/YES" for a minimum of one level of the hierarchy as this the level your buyer buys the product at. When all "Ordering Unit Indicators" reflect "FALSE/NO" this displays to this system that no levels are available for purchase.

Thanks!

Every hierarchy does have true for one level.  And the other does have false.  Why does it still error?

Hello @DawnVanWychen. Would you be able to provide the GTIN in the hierarchy and when are you getting this error message?

Sure. Multiple ones. I get the error message when I am in the hierarchy and need to click on the check mark button to validate it.  Here are some materials.  The alternate EA records are also below:

40076539016209
10076539035407

076539035400
076539016201

Thank you for that information @DawnVanWychen. For the hierarchy of 40076539016209 and 076539016201, I do not see an error. When validating in the hierarchy page you would only want to validate on the highest level of the hierarchy, in the instance the Case.

I do not see that 10076539035407 and 076539035400 are linked if they should be. For 076539035400 you do have the Ordering Unit set to True for it, so if they should be linked once linked in the system these two would be good.

Okay, so then why does the linkage on the Case record continue to show in red?  Is there something else I need to do for fixing it?  It also appears in red when it is just the case record for the product.

The link icon color is to show if that GTIN is part of a hierarchy. So a red link icon means that the GTIN is not part of a hierarchy and a green link icon means that the GTIN is part of a hierarchy.
