McLane Number and UIN are the same thing. Once the item is completed in Product Introduction you can find the UIN/McLane Item Number in the comments field in PI.

Thank you! Can you please tell me how to get to the comments field in PI? I search the GTIN and then what?

What is the case GTIN?

This process is for my own edification - I want to be able to look up the McLane item numbers when I need them, so I want to look them up for all items that I set up through my company, which is over 100 items. An example case GTIN would be

00768395543365

Thanks again

If you e-mail me directly I can send you a list of your items, when you look at the left side under additional information you will see the comments field. This is really meant for t new items. The item you referenced is an older item with non-compliant data. bjames@mclaneco.com

Hi Beckey,

Is there a way for me to look them up myself? Or do I always have to ask McLane for the item numbers? I guess that is my main question. Thank you!

Newer items will have the item number but older items will not.

Thank you! So, if I ever need a McLane item number for a baby UPC or an UIN number for a case GTIN I should send you an email? We have a lot of items that have been set up a long time ago, and only just recently needed the McLane numbers and UINs so we are trying to gather them all
