Is anyone listing supplements in the NFP?

For example, Fenugreek  powder 1,000 mg?

Hello,

I found the following documentation on Supplemental and how the panel is different from the NFP. 1Worldsync cannot advise you what to add to your GTIN. The FDA resource listed below is very helpful on how to handle the supplemental panel.

Is 1WorldSync a data pool, for only particular data?  How about information that is clearly on the package?
A Supplements Facts box is in demand (data wise).  End users want to know.

Hello @Herbs and thank you for reaching out via our customer community.  Welcome.  Yes, 1WS is a certified GDSN data pool that allows you to communicate your standardized product content with all of your trading partners who use us or any other certified data pool.  We can help you with this and much more.  Can you provide me some examples of what you are wanting to share but do not see?  I can then take your questions to our attribute experts.

If end users/customers could copy and paste text from an available, Supplement Facts box, to be filled out by your client's Supplement Facts box standardization.

Hi all,

Yes we can help you capture and share Supplemental Fact Panel content. You would use the same attributes as are available for the Nutrient Fact Panel. While that section of the GUI is very NFP focused view screen, it is the same attributes. You can click the radio button for the advanced view, then scroll to the end of the panel attributes and manually select the "nutrient" you have in your panel. For supplements, you will need to find the based "chemical" or "taxonomy" name for your nutrient. We have some additional updates coming to help with commercial names of the supplement "nutrients". That will come later this year.

If you are trying to enter a nutrient and can not find it, please reach out to us for assistance. if the value is not in the list of values, we will work with you to get it added.

Hope this helps.

Will try what you suggest.
Thank you.

OK now how do we change the title of the box to Supplement Facts?  That is what is on the packaging.  Please keep in mind, the FDA may require us to change the terminology from a (blade) to a (leaf) regarding a plant part of Herbs, Etc.'s, Proprietary Extract Blend.

Please know, A Supplement Facts box is on the packing. Not a Nutritional Facts box. Placing FDA compliant supplement facts into a Nutritional Facts box, is an FDA no-no.  That's why a Supplement Facts box is on the packing and an FDA disclaimer is too.

Hello @Herbs .  You would not need to worry about the naming used in the IM GUI or by IM.  A recipient should know that the item is a supplement based on the GPC brick code you provided. They would then be able to set the panel up correctly on their end.
