Setting up Nutrition Label in 1 World Sync

Is there a way to enter a nutrient if it does not come up on the selection list when setting up the Nutrition Label in 1 World Sync?  I am looking for L-Theanine and it doesn't come up?  Thank you!

Hello, @Frank1234 I am sending your request to our Product team contact who is a liaison with GS1 US, and ask if this is one that could be added to the roadmap for future addition.  I am not sure of how often these are considered for updates on the GS1 side and what their roadmap looks like for their next update but will let you know as we hear any updates.

Hey,

Yes there is a way to enter a nutrient that is not in the common NFP view you find online. At the top of the section, click on the Advanced radio button. Then you can scroll to the bottom of the section. There you will find the attributes with no nutrient type code selected. You can search the list to find the nutrient you need.

However, L-Theanine is not a current value in the list. We can request the standards to add the value. Please send us an image of a nutrient fact panel where it is used. We can then request GS1 to add a code for this to the standard so it can be used.

Hello Scott!

Thanks for the information.  I sent into 1 World Sync Technical Support the Nutrition Labels and the list of 5 ingredients we would like added to the dropdown.  Hopefully they will add them. Thanks again.

2 of the 5 would be new codes. I have entered a request to the standard to have those added. They will discuss them on their next calls. 3 of the values already exist. There should be a response to you ticket with those results posted shortly.
