Product Type & Pallet Configuration Requirements

Hello,

I am receiving an error when publishing 20819388020623.

The Error reads: If Product Type is Case(CA) or Display Shipper(DS) and there is no hierarchy level where productType is Pallet(PL) or Mixed Module(MX), then Number of Layers per non-GTIN Pallet/Non GTIN Pallet Hi (nonGTINPalletHi) must not be null on the hierarchy level where productType is Case(CA) or Display Shipper(DS)

20819388020623 is the case and the fields are filled. In the case goes 00819388021046 which are inner-display boxes. These are not shipping units, so it would seem I do not need to list the Ti & Hi for this item?

What am I missing?

Hello,

Welcome to the Community! Your TI/HI is required on the HIGHEST level of the hierarchy. An easy way to calculate your TI/HI would be how "LONG" and how "TALL" an item is stacked across. The "TI" would be how LONG the item is stacked and the "HI" would be how HIGH the item is stacked. When reviewing the highest level of your hierarchy it shows the "Display" level does not have the TI/HI information populated.

Understood. But 00819388021046 isn't the highest level item, 20819388020623 is and that has our HI & TI in there. So why is the error populating in what appears to be 00819388021046?

Hello, @CharlieK, and welcome back!

The error message would indicate that the "Number of Layers per non-GTIN Pallet/Non GTIN Pallet Hi (nonGTINPalletHi) must not be null on the hierarchy level where productType is Case(CA) or Display Shipper(DS)", so it seems the Product Type "Display" has caused this error if the TI and HI information was already listed at the CASE level.

Kindly try to add this missing information at the Display level and let us know if the error comes up again when trying to publish at the CASE level.

Thank you
