Linked Items to Case and Publish - Now have to change quantity

I have an item, inner and case which is setup in 1 World Sync.  I need to change the quantities from 24 in a case to 12.  I did this within the inner setup and the case setup.  Do I need to pub delete to change the link?  I just need to change the link quantity for the inner from 8 to 4.  Thank you!

@Frank1234, to update the quantities or links of an existing hierarchy, the publications of that hierarchy need to first be withdrawn (we recommend Withdrawing instead of Deleting - this can be done from Publications - Manage Publications) and, after 25 hours from the withdrawal, the current hierarchy can be unlinked and updated as needed. More details about which specific cases require a hierarchy withdrawal and the 25 hour wait are described in this article: When Do I Have to Wait 25 Hours to Update My Item/Hierarchy?

Once withdrawn and updated, you can then Publish the hierarchy to all retailers as needed. Thanks for the information.  Funny I can't find a publication where this item was published.  But I still get the error message when I go to change the quantity.  I'll figure it out.  Thank you!

As long as it is a 3 level hierarchy, it is possible the Package is published as well in addition to the Case, so you may want to check this, please. Another potential issue is the moment when the most recent Publication Withdraw was completed. If the 25 hours from the most recent Withdrawal have not passed yet, you would still get the error even though the items are no longer published.
