Getting started using the Kroger playlist - Kroger class and scheme are required but my item does not fall within any of the schemes listed.  Advise on how to move forward?

Hello @lflanary ,

I reviewed the Kroger Class options directly in Kroger VIP, and Vegetable – Prepared/Processed (Shelf Stable) does not appear to be a valid option.

Here are the search terms I used along with the results returned:

  • Vegetables – Prepared/Processed – No results

  • RenaeB_0-1749562699045.png
  • Prepared/Processed – No results

  • RenaeB_1-1749562736513.png
  • Vegetables – 20 results returned

  • RenaeB_2-1749562761575.png

I recommend reviewing the available selections again, as all valid options are included in the Kroger Playlist. Please note that your specific Kroger Class Code should also be provided by your Kroger Category Manager.

Hello @lflanary

As shown in my previous screenshots, you need to search using the three-digit Kroger Class Code—in this case, 002—or by Canned Vegetables. Both search methods will bring up the correct Kroger Class, which you can then simply select.

Hello @lflanary,

Welcome to the 1WorldSync Kroger Community!

When using the Kroger API Playlist, please be sure to add an additional Alternate Classification layout. This allows you to include Kroger Class as the Scheme, with the three-digit Kroger Class Code entered as the Code.

Important Notes:

  • The Kroger Playlist should only be used when syncing through the Kroger API. This means you must sync your GTINs to the Kroger API Certification Queue GLN for QA review before you can submit through the Certified Items process for Kroger API.
  • If you are syncing GTINs to The Kroger Company GLN (0011110000019), the top-off attributes will not sync through to Kroger VIP. These attributes will need to be entered directly in the Kroger VIP portal.
  • If you are not using the Kroger API, the Kroger Playlist is not required when submitting updates.

Please don’t hesitate to reach out with any additional questions!

Unfortunately, my item, canned food, is not in the corresponding Kroger class list.  I only see frozen items, snacks, pet food and household products.

Hello @lflanary,

I’m seeing that when searching for Kroger Class Code 002 – Can Vegetable – Shelf Stable, or 022 - Tomato Products - Shelf Stable it does appear in the system.

Have you tried using the search feature to look up your Kroger Class by name or code?

Could you let us know which Kroger Class you believe is missing from the list? The available options are a direct replication of what’s provided in Kroger VIP.

In VIP the classification shows Vegetables - prepared/processed (shelf stable) and there is also a GPC brick code of 10000272 if that helps

The first one listed, 01 Grocery, 002 Can vegetables shelf stable is correct for my item.  However, this is not showing as an option for the GTIN when I use the Kroger playlist and use the drop down for the Kroger classification.
