Hi
Sysco is asking for us to populate the following attributes for the Country of origin.
countryCode, productActivityTypeCode, productActivityRegionDescription, countrySubdivisionCode.
When I try to do this and save, I get the following error.
"If there is more than one iteration of foodAndBevIngredient, then ingredientSequence and ingredientName must not be empty.
Grape Variety Code"
What does the grape variety have to do with anything, what am I doing wrong??

Hello @Jezebel , and thanks for continuing the use of the community.
To get rid of the error, please make sure the Ingredient Place of Activity related attributes are left blank on your item:
Instead, please populate the Country of Origin Code to fulfil the retailer's request:
Thank you and please let us know if you have other questions.

I meant to say, this is a seafood item, no grapes involved, 🙂

Thank you. Can you advise on where I can look up the Country Of Origin Subdivision Code, as well as what they are looking for in the Product Activity Region Description.

Hello @Jezebel, and thank you for utilizing our customer community.
Country Of Origin Subdivision Code and Product Activity Region Description are not required attributes, you could leave them blank. If we add any info under the foodAndBevIngredient, it will prompt the Grape variety error. The correct attribute for the country of origin needed is under Processing Information > Country of Origin > Country of Origin Code. Hope it helps.

I am only doing it because Sysco has required it. Below is exactly what they specified. Do you know if those "GDSN Field" numbers correspond to something I can look up? Do you think I am doing the wrong attributes?
GDSN Field: 2776 and 2777 importClassificationTypeCode(#2776) = HARMONIZED_TARIFF_SCHEDULE_OF_THE_US and importClassificationValue (#2777).
GDSN Field: 2799 productActivityTypeCode.
GDSN Field: (2797) productActivityRegionDescription
GDSN Field: 2801 countryCode (COA).
GDSN Field: 2802 countrySubdivisionCode(COA).
Still confused about what any of this has to do with grapes, LOL

Hello @Jezebel, it is good chatting with you again.
As long as a retailer (Sysco in this case) is asking for specific attributes, you can then use the Item attributes sets search on your item page to locate and populate your attributes as required. For example:
GDSN Field: (2797) productActivityRegionDescription
When looking for specific attributes, feel free to also use our Item Management Participant DIctionary here: Current IM Participant Dictionary (IMPD)
Having the attribute ID will be very useful as some attributes can be similar.
Please let us know if this helped or if there is anything else we may assist with for this request. Thank you and have a lovely day and week ahead!

Hello - I am working to support these attributes to Sysco via GDSN as well. Can you tell me what is typically populated in "Country Subdivision Code"? Are they looking for the word "State" or the actually name of the state (like "Iowa")?
Thanks!

As far as I have been able to figure out, they want the code from the List of ISO 3166 country codes. I am using the one on Wikipedia. You can click on the country you want and then lookup the subdivision code you want. So, for Washington State, USA the code is US and the subdivision is Washington State WA, US-WA. If you are looking for outside the USA you click on the link to the subdivision code for the country you need and I have been able to find what I needed as long as I have the address of the location.

Hello @WellsDataSync and thank you for continuing the use of our Community.
Can you please let us know in which section you need to populate the attribute? It has slightly different definitions for the different sections where it can be added:
In the meantime you can also check the Current IM Participant Dictionary (IMPD) for the definitions of all attributes in Item Management.
Thank you and we are looking forward to more details so that we may assist further!
