Food And Beverage Ingredient Information

Hi

Sysco is asking for us to populate the following attributes for the Country of origin.

countryCode, productActivityTypeCode, productActivityRegionDescription, countrySubdivisionCode.

When I try to do this and save, I get the following error.

"If there is more than one iteration of foodAndBevIngredient, then ingredientSequence and ingredientName must not be empty.
Grape Variety Code"

What does the grape variety have to do with anything, what am I doing wrong??

Correction, I believe they want the number associated with the country, not the letters, lookup in the same place but for my example it is 840-WA.

We have also been asked by Sysco to complete the same codes. We send data via HTML and when I search for Product Activity Type Code in Item Attribute Sets, I get the messageGinny_0-1747414452095.png

I see a section labelled Processing Information that has the Country of Origin Code but does not have a field for Product Activity Type Code.

Please advise if Country of Origin is the in correct section and what steps we as an HTML user need to take to correct if Country of Origin is in the wrong section and what steps we need to take to add the Product Activity Type Code.

Thanks,

Ginny

Hello @Ginny and thank you for reaching out to our customer community. Welcome.

To locate any attribute you are looking for on your items in Item Management, we recommend downloading the Item Management Participant Dictionary (Current IM Participant Dictionary) and checking the IM Playlist Attributes sheet for the specific information you are looking to add. For Product Activity Type Code you can use Food And Beverage Products or Most Popular, for example. For more details about Playlists, you can also check this Playlists Video.

Regarding your second question, yes, the Country of Origin Code attribute from your screenshot is where you can add the country of origin details for your items.

Please let us know if this helped or if there is anything else we may assist with for this request. Thank you and have a wonderful day and weekend ahead!

Hi Val,

When we tried to add Product Activity Type Code in the Food and Beverage Ingredients section, we received an Error / Warning status message:

Ginny_0-1747749262072.png

XML code used:

<Flex>

      <flex>

      <agm n="foodAndBevIngredient">

        <r>

        <agm n="foodAndBevIngredient/ingredientPlaceOfActivity">

          <r>

          <agm n="foodAndBevIngredient/ingredientPlaceOfActivity/productActivityDetails">

            <r>

            LAST_PROCESSING

          </r>

        </agm>

      </r>

    </agm>

  </r>

We do not use or plan to use ingredient sequencing.

Please advise correction to XML code to add Product Activity Type Code without having to populate ingredientSequence and ingredientNames.

Thanks,

Ginny

Hello @Ginny, thank you for continuing the use of the customer community and for the follow-up. Welcome back.

Please add the attribute under the Product Activity Details section and the Item Management or XML attribute name you are looking for is productActivityDetails/productActivityTypeCode. The full GDSN XML attribute name will be placeOfItemActivityModule/placeOfProductActivity/productActivityDetails/productActivityTypeCode and the attribute GDSN ID is 2799.

Here is an example from the Item Management user interface with the value added:

I hope this helps. Thank you.

Following up here on this communication strain. I too am having issues getting these COO requirements sync'd over to Sysco. I've followed everything above and nothing. What are the specifics here please? Exactly where does everything need to go because currently, nothing is happening.

Hello @eburger

We will need more information about what you are referring to as "COO requirements".

Please attach some screenshots with the warnings/errors that you are encountering(please make sure you're including the GTIN).

Thanks,
