Can I update multiple products at once? Specifically have 500 items in my catalog I want to discontinue. Is there a bulk update tool?

Hello and thank you for reaching out via our community platform. If you are an IM user, you can extract your items to a FUSE file, make changes and upload in bulk. You can take a look here to learn more about FUSE. Be sure to understand Modify vs Append Operations. https://community.1worldsync.com/t5/New-to-1WorldSync/Documentation-FUSE-Quicksheets/ta-p/108
That should help with the bulk update part of your question. I want to also make sure you know the best practice for populating the Discontinued Dates. You really do not want to have an item published to a trading partner on the same date as your Discontinued Date. When the Discontinued Date is current, your GTIN(s) will be unregistered with the Global Registry. If those items are published at that time, it could create a loop of errors in your worklist. I recommend, during your bulk update, if you are adding Discontinued Dates that will un-register your items, you really should delete the publications for hierarchies those GTINs are present.

Hi - sorry to piggy back on this thread, but regarding the best practice for the discontinue date and ensuring the publications are deleted FIRST before entering a discontinue date, how are our recipients notified that our item is discontinued? We have had recipients ask that we send the discontinue date in the publication.

Ivanhouten, thank you for chiming in. We love it when our users "piggyback" and help out. Keep it going. You are correct but there is a very important distinction I mentioned. If you are populating future Discontinued Dates, you certainly can do so for published items. If you are entering a Discontinued Date for today, as an example, and that item is published, you will encounter errors in your worklist as the system tries to send the update for an item that no longer exists (after it is no longer registered). I hope this helps.
