Hello, Do I need to Re-publish an item when making basic cosmetic changes such as wording and making all descriptions uniform OR can I just save the item changes?

Hello LJ2020,

Thank you for reaching out to us via the 1WorldSync Community!

Regarding your question; yes, you can make "cosmetic", non-structural changes to your item(s)/hierarchies by making the change and then saving the item. Those changes will then flow over to the intended recipient as a modify, or what is sometimes called a "change by refresh". Please let us know if you have any other questions.

Thank you,

If you change an item's dimensions less than 20% over the life of the item, you can simply click "Save". However, if you change the dimensions of a product 20% or more over the lifespan of a GTIN, then GS1 Standards state that a new GTIN/Item ID should be created.

Thanks Craig!  I have one more question.  What about if I make changes to an items dimensions, would that only require a Save as well OR would I have to save and re-publish for that type of change?
