After setting up an item we're repeatedly getting the error message below. In looking more closely we don't seem to have used the same GTIN twice. Has anybody else had this experience and advice on how to correct it?

Error / Warning status

1006 : GTIN (00072063107569), InformationProvider (0072063000006) and TargetMarket (US) combination already exist

Hello @Larrywrpc and welcome to the customer community.  Thanks for reaching out. I took a look at your GTIN and Item History Report and confirmed the reason you are getting that error is that GTIN 00072063107569 was already created.  You can perform a search fro it at the top of IM by the magnifying glass.  It appears you are trying to "Add" the item over and over per the Item History Report.  Do you need to make updates to it?

To ensure your success here, I recommend you take a look at our IM training page HERE which includes a quick video on adding items.  Please let us know if you have any other questions.

Thanks for responding so quickly. We have some items that are not new however we’ve tweaked them in some way (i.e total ounces, case weight, pallet count, etc.). I’ve tried to update them with the new info but keep getting the same error message. Is there something I can do to have the new info processed correctly?

Hello @Larrywrpc and thanks for the follow-up question.

I noticed you are using a FUSE load sheet to update your items. Please set the operation to APPEND or MODIFY in Column B of the FS_item tab, for all ITEM rows, when working on updating existing items. APPEND is usually used when changing the value for a couple of fields while MODIFY is used to do a full refresh of the item and to blank out fields for which you no longer wish to provide a value.

For additional infromation, the FUSE Quick Sheets can be found here:

I hope this helps and please let us know if you have any questions.
