Competitive rankings in scorecards can help give your vendors context around how they compare to their peers which can hopefully drive those vendors to improve their content to be better than their direct competitors.
Competitive rankings are enabled as a feature toggle when configuring each scorecard report.
Once enabled the generated scorecard will include an extra tab that shows some competing vendors and their scores.
The competing vendors being displayed as competitors are determined by finding:
- Scorecards that use the same scoring template as the current scorecard being generated.
- If there are more than 100 results, then the Category configured for the scorecard is then used to filter those scorecard scores down further and continues to go to the next Category level to refine the list smaller until its either less than 100 results or reaches to the 4th level category.
- The chart will show the top 10 scores in that refined category levels.
