Configuring a vendor score card is done simply through the Syndigo Report Builder.
The report builder modal will appear, walking you through the steps to configure a scorecard to be sent out.
| Step | Instructions |
| Report Type |
Select Scorecard then Vendor Scorecard as the report you’d like to configure. Choose the Content Health Template you would like to base this scorecard on. Content Health Templates store the specific attribute evaluations and weights to be used in scoring. Optional: Choose whether to include this score card in vendor competitive ranking or not. Doing so will mean this vendor’s overall score will be presented in other score cards. For more information on Competitive Ranking please reference the help article. |
| Columns | No action is necessary on this step. Since scorecards are generated as a XLS file the columns and format has been identified in a template loaded in your account. No column selections is necessary in this configuration step. |
| Product Filters |
This step identifies what products you would like to be evaluated and scored. You can either do a quick name search in the search bar and click on the checkboxes for the products you’d like included or for a more advanced product filtering option click on Add Filter which will open the same product filtering modal you may have used on the product index view. You have the option to now filter on products on various product record attributes depending on how your company account was configured. Some common attributes to use in filtering include Unique IDs. Product Sets or Brands. To access company specific attributes that have been loaded as private attributes, you can add those to the filtering modal by clicking Add attribute value filter then selecting Private as the attribute category and then the private attribute you would like to use. Adding attributes in this view will show up as added the next time you use this modal. Some examples of some private attributes that your data could be loaded in with include any company specific categories, vendor names, classes, divisions, etc. As you add filters you will see the product count update in real time on the bottom left of the modal to show you what products have met those conditions. Note that these filters work as ORs within an attribute filter and AND’d across attribute filters (with the exception of Data Quality conditions which are not used in vendor scorecard accounts). After applying the selected filters, you will be returned to the Report Builder modal with the list of products updated that match your filtered conditions. Be sure to click on Select All if it is not already selected. By clicking on select all any future products that meet these configured conditions will be included in future reports. |
| Live Site Data |
The Live Site Data step allows you to do additional filtering of results based on the data that has been collected from the live website. This can include data such as the category of the product, the brand information or whether this is a marketplace product or specific product availability conditions. |
| Delivery |
Now that you’ve selected how to score this scorecard and the products to score you need to identify the schedule of this scorecard and the email addresses this should be sent to. Provide the name of the scorecard (that will be included in the scorecard as well) and the recurring schedule. Please note: If you have Email Now checked under “Would you like to schedule this to be a recurring export?” a report will be generated and sent right after you save this report to the recipients which may not be intended if you wish they have this report at the next scheduled time instead. |
| Report Summary |
You’re all done. The report summary is to show you the settings configured through the steps. Just confirm and click Save! Your scorecard will generate based on the configured schedule and filtering conditions. |
