With the May GDSN 3.1.27 Release, GDSN has changed the schema for CIC messages. To accommodate this, 1WorldSync is updating our 1WorldSync XML schema with the May IM 8.48 release. Please see the attached zip with the updated schema information.

Good Morning,

There is some confusion with the posted documentation.

In one document you list: Recipient, Data Source, Creator.
In another document list it as: <xsd:element name="sender" type="glnType"/>
      <xsd:element name="representedParty" type="glnType" minOccurs="0"/>
      <xsd:element name="receiver" type="glnType"/>

We can make a case that we are the sender and 1WorldSync is the receiver.
We can also make a case that we are the receiver (recipient) and 1WorldSync is the sender (Data Source).
We can't make any case that representedParty is the Creator. RepresentedParty could be any of the three.

Would you please clarify?
Thank you!

@RebeccaNichols

I wanted to see if you could share where you are seeing these attributes. I will need to see to confirm what we are discussing.

  • In one document you list: Recipient, Data Source, Creator, was this in the 8.4 release documents posted above?

  • In another document list it as: <xsd:element name="sender" type="glnType"/>
  •       <xsd:element name="representedParty" type="glnType" minOccurs="0"/>
  •       <xsd:element name="receiver" type="glnType"/>

Where are you seeing the second set in the same documents above?

Please advise so I can make sure we get you the correct answer.

Thank you!

Good afternoon!

I've tried to open this zip file, to no avail.  Is it available in a different format?

Hello @nancyVigo and thanks for reaching out.  I apologize for the delayed response.  That zip is in the standard format we use here.  I did ask a few folks to try it other than me (since I posted it) and they were able to download it as well.  What error are you getting when you try to download?

@CommunityJedi22, good morning!  Not a problem, I know you all have a lot on your hands!

Please, find the error message I'm encountering.

Hello @nancyVigo First, can you make sure you unzip the file before trying to download any of the content?  Adobe won't open .xsd files, they're not supported as the error states - The easiest/quickest answer is to open Notepad first then select File / Open and browse to the .xsd to open.  The other option is to change your file association for .xsd in Windows:

Please let me know if this helps.
