Hi.  Is there a way to withdraw publication on multiple items?  Example, I have 94 items that I need to withdraw is there a way to do this in a fuse sheet or do I have to do them individually?  The options on the FS Publication sheet Operation column are Add, Delete and Republish.  There isn't a withdraw.  If I can use the fuse sheet what would be the correct information to put into column H (publication type).  Thank you for your assistance

Hello @NancyAS I just responded on the other thread where you mentioned needing some help that I am happy to provide here.  Can you provide us your example GTINs so we can take a closer look for you?

Hi,   I sent an email back on this.

This is what is my issue:

I attached screenshots of all three GTINs I am having an issue with.   What happened is I used the UPC for Each initially as case 00 UPC and the UPC for the case as each 10.   They got published.   I then unpublished them and waited for 25 hours to fix but I still wasn't able to.
Attached are the ones in question.

Hello @NancyAS .  Please take a look at the screen cap below.  You created an invalid hierarchy as an Each can not be a parent to another item.  I recommend you break this hierarchy and recreate it starting with the Case GTIN and then link the Each to the Case.

Question, once a hierarchy is withdrawn to add another linked hierarchy and is ready to be republished; do I need to republish to each retailer this was previously published to?

Hello @CH and welcome to the customer community.  Thanks for reaching out.  When you withdraw your publications to make a hierarchy change per the prescribed process and are ready after the changes, yes, you will publish to any trading partner that you want to synchronize with to ensure they have the configuration.  Keep in mind, that if they did not know about your change before you made it, they could question your adjusted link quantities.

Do I withdraw a published item to update the quantity of a case? If I withdraw the publication, how long do I need to wait to edit it and will I have to update all the attributes again once I republish?

Hello @Deniece and thank you for utilizing our customer community.

Please review the article I have attached that would provide additional information: When Do I Have to Wait 25 Hours to Update My Item/Hierarchy?

Please let me know if additional help is needed, thank you.

How do I withdraw publications from items in "Product Managment"? I am confused as to why I can't withdraw my publication in the "Item Managment" section. Also, 2 of the three items I'm looking to withdraw are not showing up under "Item Managment" and only appear in "Product Managment." I'm trying to Sync our main Syndigo data to our vendor's data in the 1WS portal as that is our vendor's data pool management system. Would the reasons be that we are not a 1WS main data subscriber for our own primary data?

Hello @ltaglienti and thank you for reaching out via the customer community.  I took a look and confirmed you use syndigo as your data pool to publish product content to your GDSN trading partners.  You have a PI subscription with 1WS.  When you publish from your data pool to the PI recipient, that information is communicated as long as all requirements are met.  If you need to withdraw or delete publications you would do so via the solution offered by your data pool provider.

Hi, if we delete the publication, will it be deleted from the item management or it will be back to the "Not Published" item ?

Thank You & Appreciate for your explanation.

Hello @ONE-JECT. Thank you for reaching out to our customer community. Welcome.

When deleting/ withdrawing a publication, the items are not deleted from Item Management. I've attached the article How and Why to Withdraw or Delete Publications as it offers additional information, and in case you would like to delete/purge your products from Item Management I've also attached How to Delete (Purge) GTIN from Item Management. Please let me know if this helped, thank you!

Hello
I need to change the ship date in Item Management step for a style that is already published, should I unpublish the item, or I only need to modify the date and republish again to be shown in "Ready To List" section in Product Management with the correct date? Thank you

Hello @MARKEDWARDS and thanks for reaching out!

The item can be updated and saved and the information will be sent to your trading partners. After updating the item, depending on the trading partner, it can take a couple of hours for the information to reach Product Introduction.

There is no need to withdraw the publication when changing information except in certain particular instances. I've attached the article on How and Why to Withdraw or Delete Publications. Thank you!

Publication Was Deleted instead of Withdraw - Can this still be fixed? We are trying to update the item hierarchy and instead of withdrawing we have the publication.

Hello @mhicks and welcome back to the Community!

You should be fine either way, most retailers will accept publications after they are Deleted instead of Withdrawn. While we always recommend Withdraw instead of Delete when intending to publish the item/ hierarchy to the same retailer again, your recipient should receive the information successfully either way.

Please publish the hierarchy as needed and let us know if you come across any issues with the new publication. We would be happy to assist further if needed. Thank you!

I have a GTIN that I need to delete from item management and create it within production.

Do I have to make a request to delete it?

- The item was never published in Item management

- I am having issues due to having this item published in production platform due to several emerging errors:

  • I5001 Net Content & UOM (netContent) is required on consumer units and base units for Target Market (US). For GDSN items, you may need to correct data in the data pool. Item (00011110147196)
  • PI5014 Has Batch Number is required on base units or when the product type is Case. For GDSN items, you may need to correct data in the data pool. Item (00011110147196)
  • PI5036 Certified for Passover Diet is required when Diet Type Code is Kosher. For GDSN items, you may need to correct data in the data pool. Item (00011110147196)
  • PI5092 Product is Pre-Priced is required for base units. For GDSN items, you may need to correct data in the data pool. Item (00011110147196)
  • KR3323 Item is Labeled with Cents off Label is required on consumer units. For GDSN items, you may need to correct data in the data pool. Item (00011110147196)

Hello @LuisalbaMunoz and welcome back to the Community!

Deleting the publications from Item Management does not help in this case because the errors you are receiving in Product Introduction are for mandatory Kroger attributes, therefore these attributes still need to be added on the item after it is recreated.

Also, you already have the hierarchy for Each 00011110147196 created in Item Management, so it would be easier for you to just publish the Case 10011110147193 which contains the Each above so as to not have to re-enter the same information in Product Introduction again.

Regarding the errors themselves, the attributes in the error messages show up on the item page and need to be populated for you to get rid of the errors.

For the Net Content errors, please also add the Kroger Class in the Classification Specific Attributes section after clicking on the View/Modify link:

Val_P_0-1724768804171.png

After choosing the Class (step 3 above), you can input the Net Content Information:

Val_P_1-1724768915155.png

The Kroger Class I added is just an example/ placeholder, please add the appropriate class for your product.

For more details about adding your data for and submitting your data to Kroger, please also use our training documentation here: Kroger Training

If the issues persist, please also create a ticket with our Tech Support team. Here is an article with more details about our ticketing system: Ticket Management

Thank you!

Is there a way to know which one applies to us? I am making the following chnages

Case level Requirements:
Missing Mandatory Attributes:
First Order Date
First Ship Date
Errors:
Dimensional data does not follow GS1 Measurement Standards. The depth should be the longest side.

Each level Requirements:
Missing Mandatory Attributes:
Data Carrier Type Code
First Order Date
First Ship Date
Net Content
Coupon Family Code - if item is not coupon eligible, please use code 000
Errors:
Consumer Unit Indicator - Must be set to TRUE
GS1 Trade Item ID Key Code now named GTIN for Point-of-Sale Type Code - Consumer Units = GTIN12
GS1 Trade Item ID Key Value now named GTIN for Point of Sale - Consumer Unit Value = unit UPC12
Height - entered the same value as the Case - this must be for an individual unit
Width - entered the same value as the Case - this must be for an individual unit
Depth - entered the same value as the Case - this must be for an individual unit

Which of these 2 options apply to us

1WorldSync Data Pool Vendor: Please Republish as NEW following this path: Publication -> Manage Publications -> Select GTIN -> Republish -> Republish as NEW.

Non 1WorldSync Data Pool Vendor: You will need to withdraw the publication, wait the required 25 hours, then publish again as NEW.

Thanks in advance

Hello @voppedisano and welcome back!

Your GLN is registered with 1WorldSync for Data Pool services, hence you can use the Republish functionality to resend the item to your customer after the updates have been saved.

Thank you
