Having complete, accurate Product Data is essential to collecting product reviews. PowerReviews' Product Feed Health Monitoring provides visibility into the health of your Product Data so that you can be assured we have the most up-to-date, accurate information from your product catalogs. If, for some reason, there is an issue with your data, you will be able to see up-to-the-minute updates and access detailed reports on which products we were unable to import.
After logging into the PowerReviews Portal:
1. Navigate to Setup in the left-hand menu
2. Under Product Feed, click Product Feed History
A Product Feed History table will appear, which displays activity for one merchant at a time. If you are working with multiple merchants, you will need to use the merchant picker to jump between them.
The table displays daily results for the past 30 days, including the current day. You will be able to see which type of feed has been imported, how many products were submitted/accepted/ failed, as well as any product duplicates. If any products failed to import, you will be able to download a file to get more details on the errors that occurred.
For Recurring Feeds, Date Imported is a time-stamp of when the import occurred. The date and time stamp are displayed in UTC, which may differ from your local time. If, for some reason, there is more than one import on any given day, all activity will be bucketed into a single line for that day, and the time-stamp of the event will reflect the most recent import.
Feedless Product Data is ingested when customers visit your product detail pages (PDPs). Product Data is then batched and sent to PowerReviews periodically throughout the day. Similar to the Recurring Feed, all batches are bucketed and rolled up to display one day in aggregate. This allows us to see a true history of the feed, rather than the status of each event. The time-stamp of the event will reflect the most recent batch import.
Each row will show the feed type for that particular day or event - Feedless or Recurring. If both occur on the same day, there will be one row for each type of import.
If an error occurs and we are unable to import certain Product Data, the table will display the number of failed products and allow you to download an error file with the products that did not import. The error file contains the following fields:
Each day/row will include a status. If the Recurring Feed or Feedless has a 0% error rate, the status will show as Succeeded. If at least one product failed to import, but not all products failed, the status will show as Partially Failed. If all products failed, the status will show as Failed.
