Sell sheets are an effective tool that allows you to download product content out of the Syndigo platform for advertising and promoting your product. They offer brand reinforcement, ordering details, high-quality images, and persuasive copy. Often, they are the first impression a customer has of your product.

Sell sheets can be configured by the Administrator for your Syndication account.

 

Download Sell Sheet

  1. Navigate to the Product Index page by clicking Products in the lefthand navigation panel.
  2. Select the specific item that you want to download the sell sheet PDF.
  3. The Product Details page will appear.
  4. In the upper right corner click Export Sell Sheet.
  5. If you receive an error please ensure your item has a Trade Item Unit listed.
  6. The GPC (Brick code) will drive the food/non-food version of the spec sheet if it appears incorrectly, please review the GPC input.
  7. The document will open in another tab.
  8. Select Save or Download to save as a PDF.

 

Export Sell Sheet URL

  1. Navigate to the Product Index page by clicking Products in the lefthand navigation panel.
  2. Click on Manage Columns.
  3. Click Add New Column.
  4. Search for Sell Sheet URL.
  5. Click Apply.
  6. Select the products you would like to export sell sheet URL links for.
  7. Click Export.
  8. Choose either Direct Export or Email.
  9. Click Next.
  10. Select Product Table.
  11. Click Confirm.
  12. You will either receive an email with a download option or you can download in the notification bell icon in the upper right corner of the platform.

 

Customize Sell Sheet

Sell sheets can be used as is, however there are also options to configure some components.

  1. Navigate to the Configurations tab.
  2. Click on Company Settings.
  3. Select Sell Sheets Configurations.
  4. On the right hand side of the screen, select the Sell Sheet Preview option for Food Product or Non-Food Product.
  5. For Header, select Dark or Light Background.
  6. Adjust Brand/Accent color to your preference by clicking on the field. It will show a pop-up preview to manually select a color or input a Hex code.
  7. To add or update the company logo click on Add Asset. This will default to the tab to Upload New Assets or you can click on the tab to Search Media Library.
    • The Upload New Assets tab has 3 options:
      1. Drop Files anywhere to automatically upload
      2. Select files to upload
      3. Type or paste in the asset URL
        • Once the logo has been uploaded or the URL has been added, click on the asset to highlight it. Click on Assign Asset.
    • The Search Media Library feature has 2 options:
      1. Search for the specific asset name
      2. Select from available assets in preview
        • Once you have selected the appropriate asset, click on Assign Asset.
  8. Brand Logos will default to the Company Logo if no logo is added. To add a Brand Logo click on the Plus Sign in front of the brand that you would like to assign an asset for. This will default to the tab to Upload New Assets or you can click on the tab to Search Media Library.
    • The Upload New Assets tab has 3 options:
      1. Drop Files anywhere to automatically upload
      2. Select files to upload
      3. Type or paste in the asset URL
        • Once the logo has been uploaded or the URL has been added, click on the asset to highlight it. Click on Assign Asset.
    • The Search Media Library feature has 2 options:
      • Search for the specific asset name
      • Select from available assets in preview
        • Once you have selected the appropriate asset, click on Assign Asset.
  9. Footer text can either be default or select Custom to manually input notes.
  10. The header title can be updated between brand and manufacturer name.
  11. Header identifier can be GTIN, UPC, or SKU.
  12. Header Description can be marketing description or Benefit concatenated.
  13. More Information will pull the existing value from trade item contact information or enter the value manually.
  14. The following fields can be enabled or disabled:
    • Additional Images
      • Planogram Case Front View
      • Open View
      • Alternate Image View
      • Planogram Inner Pack Front View
      • Plated
      • Raw/Uncooked
      • Main Product Image
    • Nutritional and diet claims (for food items only)
    • Nutritional analysis (for food items only)
    • Nutrition panel (for food items only) can be by serving or by measure
  15. URL ID - Set to default or custom, which will add the GTIN, UPC, or integration Item ID to the end of the existing URL.
  16. Once you’re satisfied with the preview, make sure to save changes.

 

Troubleshoot Sell Sheet Fields Using Data View

  1. Navigate to the Product Index page by clicking Products in the lefthand navigation panel.
  2. Select the specific item that you want to troubleshoot.
  3. The Product Details page will appear.
  4. On the left hand side of the screen change the Syndication recipient or data view to Syndigo GDSN Data Views.
  5. Update the Requirement Set to Sell Sheet.
  6. Click Apply.
  7. Update any values you would like modified, save changes, and click Publish. This will update the information to any recipient the field is published to.
