Register and Manage a GDSN Party (GLN)

Register a Party and view its status. Edit or remove a Party.

NOTE: Only GDSN users can register and edit a Party. 

A Party is an entity within the platform that distributes or receives product content. Vendors, or Recipients, that use Syndigo as their GDSN provider can view both their marketing and commerce data and their GDSN data in the Syndigo platform. 

You can register a Party, view and edit Party information, and view Party registration status with the GDSN Global Registry. Additionally, you can define your preferred target markets. 

Register a GDSN Party 

1. Navigate to the Party Settings page by clicking Configurations in the lefthand navigation panel. Configurations may be hidden behind the ... icon. 
2. Under Party Settings, click Create New. 
3. Populate the information in the fields shown.  
4. Choose a Target Market by keeping the default United States, removing it, and/or adding a new one. 
5. Click Register. 

View Registration Status 

Once you register a GDSN Party, it will be sent to the GDSN Global Registry for approval. You will be notified when it has been approved or rejected. 

1. Navigate to the Party Settings page by clicking Configurations in the lefthand navigation panel. Configurations may be hidden behind the ... icon. 
2. Find the Party you wish to review.  
3. View the registration status in the Status column. 

Edit Party Details 

1. Navigate to the Party Settings page by clicking Configurations in the lefthand navigation panel. Configurations may be hidden behind the ... icon. 
2. Click the Party Label you wish to edit. 
3. Make any changes to the content and click Save Changes.
