Foodservice Attributes - Playlist Usage

Foodservice Information Providers (suppliers, etc.) can utilize playlists in IM to make synchronizing with your trading partners easier.  Playlists are an aggregation of attributes and built-in validations.  There are different types of playlists including some specific to various recipients.  Foodservice suppliers can use these or the Food and Beverage playlist to more efficiently synchronize with your trading partners.

Here is how you can select the playlists in IM at the GTIN level: 

You can also learn more about the attributes in various playlists by looking at the IM Participant Dictionary.  Please see below how to find what you need for attribution in the Food and Beverage Playlist:

1. Open the IMPD and click the tab "IM Playlist Attributes"
2. Filter by "Playlist GUI Name" and select the "Food And Beverage Products ONLY"
3. Column B called "IM Attribute Name" shows the attributes for the filtered playlist
4. Please note that not all attributes are required and some are conditionally required
5. For more details on each attribute, click the IM Participant Dictionary tab and filter by the attribute in E, F, G.
