Implementation Steps for Publications to GLN 0041318001501

1. Complete the Schnucks Trading Partner Form found on the Schnucks Data Sync

Landing Page at www.1worldsync.com/schnucks. This will enable Schnucks to create a subscription-based on the Information Provider GLN submitted.

1WorldSync IM customers can see when Schnucks subscribes to your GLN in IM via “Reports” then click “Current Subscriptions.”  You can search by Schnucks GLN with a Targeted Subscription Type.

2. Review the complete listing of attribute requirements for GDSN and Schnucks found in

the Schnucks Attribute Guide at www.1worldsync.com/schnucks and here in the community platform at Schnucks Community Space.

3. Have your complete and accurate item data loaded into your GDSN certified data pool

and ensure it is ready for publication in Production.

Production Publication Steps for Existing Items

1. Once you have submitted the Schnucks Trading Partner Form, Schnucks will email the

primary data synchronization contact provided with a list of existing items currently

sold to Schnucks for publication.

• Item List Feedback: If the list of items Schnucks has requested for publication contains discontinued items or items not found in your system, please email.

Publish the list of requested items to the Schnucks GLN 0041318001501 as Initial Load.  1WorldSync IM customers can search for your publication level GTIN, put a check in the box in the search results and click “Publish.”  Follow these steps from there… 

2. Schnucks will review the publications and provide feedback on non-compliant items or any other

issues with the item publications using REVIEW CICs.

3. Investigate and respond to “Review” CIC responses. Schnucks will provide feedback on

publications using CIC responses. If an issue requires additional clarification this will be

communicated in addition to the CIC response.

Catalog Item Confirmations (CIC’s)

CIC Messages:

RECEIVED: Product received and passed Schnucks GDSN validations. This response will

typically be sent within a few hours after receiving the publication.

REVIEW: Product does not pass Schnucks GDSN validations or product failed Schnucks

audit process and therefore has data discrepancies to be reviewed and addressed. Reason

for Review status will be transmitted in CIC999. This response may follow a Received

message and may take several days to resolve.

SYNCHRONIZED: Product fully accepted and loaded into Schnucks internal system and

updated as revisions occur. This response is sent after all validations and audits are

successfully completed. 

 REJECTED: Product de-listed by Schnucks.

Production Publication Steps for New Item Set Up

1. Work with your Category Manager to complete the Schnucks New Item Form (NIF) for

any requested items.

2. Once you have completed the NIF and have submitted the Schnucks Trading Partner

Form, Schnucks will email the primary data synchronization contact provided to

confirm they are ready to accept your publication(s).   Publish your approved item(s) to the Schnucks GLN 0041318001501 as New.

3. Schnucks will review the publications and provide feedback on non-compliant items or any other

issues with the item publications using REVIEW CICs.  

4. Investigate and respond to “Review” CIC responses. Schnucks will provide feedback on

publications using CIC responses. If an issue requires additional clarification this will be

communicated in addition to the CIC response.

Item Changes

1. For any item attribute updates on items previously published to Schnucks

• Publish item updates to the Schnucks GLN 0041318001501
• Note: If you are modifying one of the following attributes, you will need to submit a Hierarchy Withdraw to suspend synchronization of the item while the item is being modified.
  • Quantity of Next Level Item
  • Base Unit Indicator
  • Special Item Code 

Once modified, you will need to publish the item again as Initial Load.

2. Schnucks will review the publications and provide feedback on non-compliant items or any other

issues with the item publications using REVIEW CICs.

3. Investigate and respond to “Review” CIC responses. Schnucks will provide feedback on

publications using CIC responses. If an issue requires additional clarification this will be

communicated in addition to the CIC response.

Discontinued Items

1. Suppliers must assign and publish a Discontinued Date prior to discontinuing an item.

2. Once the Discontinued Date has been successfully published and the Discontinued Date has passed, submit a Publication Delete for the item being discontinued.
