What is the ContentCast upgrade to Syndigo Enhanced Content?
Syndigo is evolving the ContentCast experience by delivering all enhanced product content through the Syndigo Enhanced Content platform—a more advanced solution that enables richer content experiences, improved performance visibility, and expanded brand participation.
This upgrade is being rolled out in phases, with brands moving to the enhanced platform over time. During this process, retailers will continue to receive content without interruption.
What do I need to do to prepare for this upgrade?
No immediate action is required. We recommend ensuring relevant teams are aware that enhanced content will increasingly be delivered via Syndigo Enhanced Content, enabling them to recognize and take advantage of new capabilities over time.
How will the brand upgrades from ContentCast to Enhanced Content affect my retail site – is there an expected disruption in service?
There is no expected disruption to your site. Content will remain live and available throughout the upgrade.
To ensure continuity, Syndigo uses logic that checks for content across both ContentCast and Enhanced Content. Content will automatically render from the appropriate source, ensuring uninterrupted shopper experiences.
This approach ensures that content remains consistently available, regardless of whether it resides in ContentCast or Enhanced Content during the transition period.
What brands or products are affected?
There is no loss of current content.
As part of the upgrade, you will gain access to an expanded Syndigo brand network, increasing the volume and richness of content available on your site.
Do I need to update scripts on my site?
No changes are required during the upgrade period. Existing scripts will continue to function as they do today.
Once all brands have been upgraded, Syndigo will provide guidance on consolidating to a single, updated script.
I currently use both Syndigo and ContentCast scripts. What should I do?
You should keep both scripts in place for now. This ensures full content coverage during the upgrade period.
We will notify you when it is appropriate to transition to a single Syndigo integration.
Should we allow new domains?
Yes. If your site uses allow‑lists or block‑lists, you will need to add Syndigo domains in order to continue receiving content from both the heritage ContentCast and Syndigo systems.
Please add the following to your allow‑list:
*.syndigo.com
*.syndigo.cloud
This ensures uninterrupted content delivery as part of the transition.
