What is 1WorldSync's relationship with the Channel Partners?
How do I contact Customer Support
The Master User is the responsible party to manage user access for the account. They can add and delete users as desired.
If you are not the Master User and do not know who is, and you wish to have someone added as a user, please contact our support.
If you are the Master User:
To add a user, click the Add button and complete the form. Note: the user name must be unique and can not contain any spaces or characters (letters only). Hit the save button and an email will automatically be sent to the new user with their login credentials and instructions.
To delete a user, click the box next to their User ID and hit the delete button.
NOTE: Your account is set to have up to 5 users. If more are needed, please contact our support.
As the Master User you can also check/uncheck the boxes after each user's email address to control who is the Default Assignee for the account (the user that the 1WorldSync Request notifications are sent to), and which users are copied on the notifications.
What is the Product Content Production Process
When 1WorldSync receives a content build request for a SKU from a Channel Partner or a Premium MFG, we gather publicly available product content (primarily from the manufacturer's website) and combine it with content uploaded by the manufacturer through their PartnerAccess account (online portal). We then transform the content based on 1WorldSync's structured and normalized content data model and deliver it to the Channel Partners.
Product Content Production Process
Product Content Requests
When a Channel Partner activates a product for their website, it generates a request to 1WorldSync to create product content for the SKU in accordance with 1WorldSync's structured & normalized content data model. In addition, a PartnerAccess Premium Manufacturer also has the ability to upload a new sku build request to 1WorldSync via Catalog> Enrich Catalog in the PA Portal and we will build in accordance with the structured & normalized data model.
Content Aggregation
1WorldSync uses the manufacturer’s public website (and other manufacturer content repositories where available) as a source for product information collection. 1WorldSync will also combine that information with anything that has been uploaded into the PartnerAccess portal to build the normalized content.
Content Transformation
1WorldSync converts the non-standardized product information from multiple sources into consistent structured and normalized product content for consistency across all products in any particular category. Product description, specifications, marketing text, and feature bullets are created based on 1WorldSync's structured content formulas and rules. It should be also be mentioned that because of the structured content rules, we can very rarely use the manufacturer's preferred product description verbatim.
Content Validation
1WorldSync then validates we have all necessary information to build the particular sku.Should 1WorldSync not have enough information to complete the build of a sku, the sku will go "On Hold" or "Not Available" until ALL required content is received. It is necessary that the Manufacturer check the PartnerAccess portal for their "On Hold" skus which can be located in the home page of the portal under "Production Statistics" and put their sku(s) "Back into Production" by providing 1WorldSync with the necessary information we need to complete the sku.
Content Delivery
1WorldSync delivers the structured content to the Channel Partner and generally within 3-5 days after 1WorldSync has delivered, the partners website reflects the new content.
What is "Structured Content" ?
Structured content converts non-standardized product information from multiple sources and turns it into consistent and normalized data across all products within any particular category.
Product description, specs, marketing text, and feature bullets are created based on 1WorldSync specified formulas and rules and thus the data you see on within the PartnerAccess portal or on a partners site, may look different than what the Manufacturer has available.
