Custom Moderation combines PowerReviews' software and services to provide you with additional flexibility and automation on top of our standard moderation process, using Custom Observations and Custom Publication.
Custom Observations
When using Custom Observations, you create certain guidelines for review Observations that our moderators can see and apply to your UGC. These Observations would differ from our standard moderation Observations that we use for all clients, giving you additional security and ensuring that only content that conforms to your specific business rules appears in your Review Display; you can also be alerted to any content that would raise a concern. For example, if your brand sells health supplements, you may want to create a Custom Observation for customers referencing the formula or certain ingredients.
Custom Publication
When using Custom Publication, you create rules surrounding which moderation Observations should be included or excluded for content to be published to your website. You can apply Custom Publication rules to your Custom Observations, and can also override the PowerReviews publication status on our standard moderation Observations that we use for all clients. If we use the health supplements example from above, you may want content that references a certain ingredient not to be published on your website. This gives you complete automated control of content publication.
Custom Moderation is an ongoing service with an annual fee that requires training our human moderators on your Custom Observations and Custom Publication rules. For more information on pricing and examples, contact your Account Team.
