As part of the Item Management (IM) 8.43 release on November 18, 2023, the Global Product Classification (GPC) codes listed below will be deleted from IM, as they have been removed from the GDSN standard.
- 10005276 Lubricant Containers/Dispensers (Empty)
- 10007940 Garden Water Pump Replacement Parts/Accessories
- 10003857 Garden Water Pumps
- 10005282 Lubricating Oil/Fluid Pumps (Powered)
- 10005281 Lubricating Oil/Fluid Pumps (Non Powered)
- 10005257 Fuel Pumps (Powered)
- 10005256 Fuel Pumps (Non Powered)
- 10004034 Soap/Lotion/Sanitizer Dispensers
- 10008092 Cannabis - Concentrate - Wax/Resin
If you have items belonging to your organization that is currently populated with one of these GPC codes, we recommend you update these items to valid GPC codes immediately to continue successfully synchronizing with your recipients after November 18, 2023.
Please note, 1WorldSync will update these GPC codes to 99999999 just prior to the IM 8.41 Production release to prevent any negative impact to your GTINs.
