McLane requires specific attributes to be sent with your item. They also have guidelines in place concerning how to populate certain attributes to meet their standards.
When publishing data to McLane, the following must be included:
- You must include a Brand Owner GLN and Brand Owner Name for your items.
- Ti/Hi must be included at either the pallet or case level.
- A Product Description with a detailed item description is required. No abbreviations are to be included.
- If Net Weight is populated, you must populate Drained Weight.
- The Unit of Measure (UOM) for Gross Weight, Net Weight, and Drained Weight must be consist for each item in your hierarchy.
- GS1 Trade Item ID Key Code and GS1 Trade Item ID Key Value must be properly populated. The code and value entered should relate directly to the symbology on the product barcode.
- A consumer unit must be marked as GTIN_12 with 12 digits – the UPC.
- A non-consumer unit (i.e. case) should me marked as GTIN_14 with the full 14-digit GTIN.
Once your data is entered correctly, please publish your data to McLane Grocery (GLN: 0083967000016) as NEW.
