There are critical best practices for 1WorldSync customers synchronizing product content with Ace Hardware.  At this time, Ace is accepting only New Publications for items requested by Ace in Content Readiness.  Ace does not welcome any items published to them outside of the items they requested which can be seen in Content Readiness.

Here are some best practices for synchronizing with Ace:

  1. Suppliers must not publish items prior to Ace subscribing to their GLN. Ace picks items with a publication date of a day prior.
  2. Always use the Ace Hardware playlist (GUI or FUSE) to enter the mandatory attributes (Ace Category)
  3. Ensure your e-commerce attributes are complete and of good quality. This includes images for all of your items for Ace. Your items and their images items will show online on acehardware.com after publishing to the Ace GLN successfully.
  4. Remember, Ace does not welcome any items published to them outside of the items requested by them from the target suppliers

If changes are needed to the item after publication, be sure to republish via Manage Publications after you complete any updates.

You can learn more about the unique republish process offered to 1WorldSync IM customers in the article Republishing in Item Management

We offer lots of helpful information in the Ace Community Space where you can benefit from self-serve knowledge share and asking questions of your peers and 1WorldSync Support.

The space includes Quick Sheets, Attribute & Image Requirements, the Ace Restricted Items list, and the Ace Implementation Guide.

As a 1WorldSync IM customer, you can register for the free 101 Basic Item Management Loading Workshop and the free 101 Basic Item Management Tips & Tricks Workshop.  The 101 Basic how-to recordings are available in the Community anytime you need them.  If you need additional or more specialized help with Ace, you can also request individualized training with one of our Specialists via the Webinar 201 Advanced - Individualized Training

This training and more is available in the Training Academy.  Please post any questions you have in the comments area below.
