The purpose of this document is to map each Foodservice requested attribute to a 1WorldSync Item Management (IM) attribute for easy cross reference for the IM user. This document is intended for 1WorldSync IM users only: IM Portal users, users of the Foodservice specific Fuse Spreadsheet, and Direct-Connect customers using XML for data loading.
The FSE to 1WS Mapping Guide tab maps the FSE attribute name to a 1WS attribute name. You can use this to map GDSN attribute names to those used by trading partners using external data pools. Please see the details for this tab attached and below.
For ease of use, the columns are arranged in the following order: Common Name (Common name of the attribute), GDSN Field Name (GDSN name for the attribute), GDSN Mandatory (indicates if the attribute is required in GDSN, if it is dependent on population of another GDSN attribute, or if it is optional), Field Description (Description of the attribute), Foodservice Common Definition (Common definition of the Foodservice attribute), Global Data Dictionary Definition (Definition of the attribute according to the Global Data Dictionary), Foodservice Usage (indicates if the attribute is mandatory or optional for Foodservice), 1WS IM Screen Name (indicates the name of the attribute in the 1WorldSync Item Management (IM) portal), Data Type (provides information about the data type of the attribute, if it is numeric or has a code list etc.), Has Valid Value List (indicates if the attribute has a Valid Value List), 1WS Fuse Foodservice Spreadsheet Column (indicates the column on the 1WorldSync Foodservice Fuse spreadsheet tool that the attribute is in), 1WS XML Name (provides the inbound XML tag name for Foodservice suppliers using a direct connect into 1WorldSync for item loading), GS1 Global Data Dictionary Tag (The attribute tag in the Global Data Dictionary) and Comments (provides any additional comments the user should know about the attribute).
Attribute question,
Where in the attribute section would you list about a product, not speaking of an allergen, but the type of product, we sell frozen dough and a distributor want to know if it's white or wheat?
I know where to list allergens and additives, but I was wondering if under the descriptions- Product type description if this is where we could enter that specific information and it would flow through to them after we publish it to Distributor?
Hello @eb13 and thank you for using our customer community. We took a look and believe Product or Additional description would be the best fit for this. Please let us know if you have any other questions.
