Category Snippets are an optional addition to your product listing pages (PLPs) or Search pages that allow multiple products on the page to display the Review Snippet information. These snippets only contain stars, ratings, and review counts; since they are streamlined snippets, they load faster.
By adding multiple Category Snippets, you'll create an array on your PLPs or Search pages. This means that a repeating block of code is placed, where each block of code is dedicated to a separate product.
As a best practice, PowerReviews recommends placing the Category Snippets below the product name. For example, if your products are listed with the brand, product, and then the price on your PLPs or Search pages, place the snippets below the last line of product information. If a product has no reviews, an empty snippet will display. You may use custom CSS to hide snippets until a product has received reviews, if desired.
